Voice Over Internet Protocol
VoIP is short for Voice over Internet Protocol. It's a fancy way to describe cheap phone calls through your broadband connection, not your phone line (landlines are so outdated). With this new generation telephone service being significantly cheaper than calls made using a landline service, you can expect to save up to 60% off your normal landline phone bill.
It may sound high-tech, but in fact it is really easy to use! You can still make phone calls over your existing handsets, and your computer does not have to be switched on.
